U.S. President Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka watched the snowboarding, curling, speed skating, and bobsleigh events to cheer for U.S. athletes.
After dinner with President Moon Jae-in on Friday, Ivanka moved to Jeongseon that night, where she watched the men’s snowboarding Big Air final on Saturday and sat next to first lady Kim Jung-sook and Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha.
She took selfies with others and danced along to Psy’s “Gangnam Style.” She spent most of her time here meeting and talking with U.S. athletes and their families.
Cheong Wa Dae said that the first lady gave Trump silk slippers as a present which she had chosen herself.
She left Korea on Monday. “It was a wonderful first visit and just exciting and beautiful,” she told reporters upon her departure. “I look forward to returning back.”
