One late Crystal Mountain skier was given a very special honor Saturday.
The ski resort’s “Cheers” slope was renamed to “Cheers to Lou” in honor of Lou Batori.
Lou was 107 years old when he passed away earlier this year.
He tore down the slopes in skiing competitions when he was more than a hundred years old.
He even went skiing down the “Cheers” slope as recently as last year, when he was 106.
Even though Lou is no longer living, Crystal Mountain hopes the name change will help his legacy live on.
